Striking
Using the entire body as a weapon — hands, elbows, knees, feet, head, body mass, and areas not commonly trained such as the chin and fingertips.
Real-world techniques for real-world threats. Training that works under pressure.

Our adult students train in Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu, Ninjutsu, and Japanese Jiujutsu — a complete system covering stand-up fighting, ground techniques, weapons, and knife defence.
This training approach is unique to our school and focused on skills that work under pressure — not tournament conditions, not padded sparring. Real scenarios.
With weapons-related crime increasing across Victoria, many adults are taking responsibility for their own safety — and their family's — by seeking training that is practical, realistic, and proven.

Using the entire body as a weapon — hands, elbows, knees, feet, head, body mass, and areas not commonly trained such as the chin and fingertips.
Locking and controlling any joint in the body. Applied with precision and combined with positional awareness to neutralise threats.
Positional control and escapes from ground situations — not sport grappling, but practical survival when the fight hits the floor.
Traditional and modern weapon contexts — how to use them, how to defend against them, and how to train safely with them.
Integrated throughout all training — not an afterthought. Creating space, protecting vital areas, and managing real attack patterns.
Kyusho — anatomical weak spots drawn from traditional ryu. Disrupting balance and strength without relying on brute force.
Kyusho
We teach Kyusho — pressure points and anatomical weak spots — drawn from traditional ryu. This training adds depth and precision to everything else you learn.
It's not about brute force. It's about applying the right technique to the right point to disrupt, disable, or control an attacker efficiently — even when size and strength are against you.
We also run Pressure Point Seminars throughout the year, open to students from all martial arts backgrounds.
Essential Skills
Knife defence is treated as a core skill, not an optional module. Training focuses on creating space, protecting vital areas — especially the throat — and managing realistic grab-and-stab scenarios.
With hundreds of blade-related assaults reported in Melbourne every year, this is no longer optional training. Most schools touch on knife defence briefly. We devote serious time to it.
