Martial Arts Geelong · Bujinkan Ninjutsu
Real-world techniques for real-world situations. Training that works standing, on the ground, and against weapons.
The Training
At the Bujinkan Martial Arts Ninjutsu Academy in Geelong, our self-defence classes are built around real-world, street-effective skills. Adult and high school students train in Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu — Ninjutsu and Japanese Jujutsu — developing the ability to fight standing, on the ground, and against weapons or multiple attackers.
This is not sport training. There are no tournaments, no point-scoring, no techniques designed for competition conditions. What we teach is built for the situations that actually happen.
Younger Students
We offer structured self-defence classes for children aged 5 to 12, with age-appropriate techniques designed to build genuine capability in a safe and supportive environment.

Why Train With Us
Take The Training Further
Knife defence is one of the most important elements of any genuine self-defence curriculum. Tactical Knife Fighting & Defence — written by Shihan Rob Baard — takes the principles from the mat and puts them in written form: anatomy, attack patterns, distances, and defences that hold up under real conditions.
A practical companion to the training — whether you're between sessions or want to go deeper on the material covered in class.
