Grandmaster Masaaki Hatsumi — the founder of Bujinkan and Rob Baard's teacher — has taught his methods to FBI agents in the United States and members of the UK's Special Air Service. He has received formal letters of appreciation from both organisations. Bujinkan training is practised by law enforcement, government agencies, military personnel, and those in private security worldwide.
